  1. Every year, a mysterious man named Calypso sends e-mails to renowned drivers, inviting them to compete in a tournament called Twisted Metal. The conditions of the tournament are anything but ordinary: opponents fight each other in armored vehicles with mounted weapons. The winner receives an audience with Calypso, and is granted a single wish - a wish without limits, be it money, power, or even our reality itself. In 2005, the annual tournament is held again in Los Angeles, and twelve drivers, each with his own agenda, have come to compete to death.
Twisted Metal is a vehicular combat game. The player selects one of the twelve available drivers and takes part in the competition. In the one-player story mode, the player must progress through six combat stages; all the opponents must be destroyed in order to win the race. In the two-player co-op mode, players choose a battlefield and control two cars in an attempt to get rid of the competition.
All the vehicles are equipped with two mounted machine guns; though relatively weak, they have unlimited ammunition. Other weapons can be picked up by driving over them during the races. These include fire and homing missiles, land mines, tire spikes, and others. Each participant has a life bar, which can be replenished by entering a specific area on the stage.

  2. After an era of political unrest in the early 21st century, the world's leaders have fallen and natural resources have been depleted. This results in the downfall of the world economy and leads to a series of bloody conflicts in a world where the less fortunate strive for survival and live for one reason.... illegal racing.
In StateShift, racing machines with highly advanced morphing abilities compete in illegal underground races around the world. Drivers go one on one with up to fifteen racers across nine tournaments. The titular stateshifts refer to special power-ups the player can unlock. With names such as «Dragster», «Ghost», «Mamouth» and «Scorch», they can be used to drive faster or take corners more sharply, but require picking up energy cells on the tracks to recharge. The game has various modes including Career Mode to unlock new tournaments, tracks, characters and stateshifts, Time Trial, Challenges, Quick Race and various tutorials. The game also has a multiplayer mode via Wi-Fi.

  4. The evolution of Caesar 3 is similar to Civilization II, with the cumulative effect of the improvements over past entries resulting in a much more engaging, enjoyable, and yes, addictive game. The primary improvements come in several flavors: graphics, economic, religious, political, and social models; and in consolidating almost all activities onto a single map. Because of the latter, players can spend more time concentrating on creating the necessary infrastructure required for a functioning Roman city.
Compared to Caesar 2, the emphasis is on economics and not military activity. The multiple demands for growth, current revenue, and risk management will keep even the most brilliant governor glued to the monitor. At the macro level, there are numerous issues the aspiring governor must address. Ensuring an adequate food supply is critical because without food you get no immigrants, thus no city. Establishing industries, infrastructure and proper export/import channels to maximize income are vital to success. City developments grinds to a halt without cash.
Establishing the proper security environment is also enjoyably represented. In low-threat provinces, players need only make enough prefects (police stations), but in militarily threatened areas players must create proper army defenses. Without security there are no economics as the enemy has a nasty habit of attempting to level player’s cities. At the earlier levels, barbarians are poorly organized and motivated, and don’t present much of a threat. Things change dramatically later on. Creating and managing legions is an important skill, and also a lot of fun.
At the micro level, players will find themselves constantly challenged in the battle for resources. A key to city (and personal) survival is early economic development. This risks fire, famine and falling buildings, but manufacturing of all sorts provides the majority of income. The point at which your city turns the corner and becomes a paying concern gives a great shot of satisfaction, and players can then turn their attention towards making the myriad improvements required to expand the population and tax base.
Caesar III puts together several different moving pieces into an attractive, challenging, and addictive package. Balancing the competing demands for resources, taxation, security, development, and economic activity will stress the skills of the most skillful strategy gamers. The game is economically oriented, but there is enough military play to keep the aspiring centurions among the crowd interested, and so they should.

  6. Maxis has worked to build a franchise on its thoughtful and addictive management simulations, and has earned a respectable reputation for its efforts. Streets of Simcity, an arcade driving game, is the product of an improved version of the Simcopter 3D engine, but while Simcopter is a helicopter simulation, Streets takes on the arcade racing genre with tires smoking and guns blazing. However, in a market saturated with high quality driving games, the advertised feature that gamers will find most enticing is the option to load up and drive in any Simcity 2000 city.

  7. Airline 69: Return to Casablanca continues in the same vain as the developer's previous Wet Attack: The Empire Cums Back and is a managerial strategy game with erotic elements. The game is set in 1942 and the player takes the role of the pilot Wayne whose aircraft is shot down over Casablanca. Fortunately he survives and even gains a love interest: the secret agent Chou-Chou who hid in said aircraft. The goal of the game is to gain a license for an own airline and keep Chou-Chou happy.
At first, the player has only the option to do small-time trading: talking to the various people of Casablanca, buying one of the 24 wares (each trader has the same ground prices which have to be lowered with haggling and the player can only purchase one item per ware at a time) and selling it for a profit. Later, when the player takes over the bordello and receives the airline license, more managerial options become available. However, progression is not only based on earning enough money but also on buying information from the same traders. Depending on the current progression, more information becomes available which means all persons have to checked regularly. Additionally the player needs click on the correct interactive screen elements.
Locations are reached by choosing them from the city map and (just like the characters) are represented with drawn comics graphics. Females are usually depicted naked and with large breasts; the animations in those screens mostly show sexual acts. As managerial game most of the time is spent in those screens and the menus which are opened by clicking on the associated spots and persons. The only exception are the mini games: to keep Chou-Chou happy the player both has to buy her presents and solve the sex mini game (using the correct sex tool on one of her four erogenous zones) and airline missions involve playing a basic vertically scrolling shooter.

  8. There are two ways to play the game: Instant Action and Full Simulation. In the first mode you don’t have to worry about things like finances, but you’re also limited to the number of items you get to place in the park. In Full Sim mode, your tasks include researching rides and ride upgrades, setting the ticket price (for the whole park only – rides are free to paying customers) and concession prices, and managing a staff of janitors, mechanics, security people, researchers, and entertainers.
Your staff needs direction in order to function with anything resembling efficiency. This means that every time you add to your park, you must hire new staff and set their patrols to cover the new area. Don’t even think about letting these palookas operate autonomously. In my first game, I didn’t set any patrol areas for my workers, and within minutes the park was filled with garbage, fouled bathrooms, and rampant criminal activity. Having to perform this ritual each time you expand the park makes the gameplay very formulaic and tedious.

  9. The story begins with John Vattic waking up in a mysterious medical facility with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Vattic soon uncovers that he has the ability to manipulate the physical world with his mind and uses this newfound power to escape and try to discover the forgotten secrets of his past.
The gameplay of Second Sight involves the use of both firearms and psychic abilities. John's psychic arsenal includes telekenisis, a psychic attack (either in the form of a psychic shockwave or a The sniper rifle mechanic in Second Sight, with the scope view in the corner.
The sniper rifle mechanic in Second Sight, with the scope view in the corner.
concentrated ball of energy), healing, invisiblity, projection, and possesion. The games arsenal of weapons includes the basic shooter weaponry, ranging from pistols to SMGs, and assault rifles to sniper rifles.

There is also a stealth element to the game, allowing the player to sneak past enemies to reach their objectives, mostly relying on their charm ability (using John's psychic influence to trick the enemy into thinking John isn't there) or their projection ability to scout the area ahead. However, the game does include some instances where stealth is not an option and the player must eliminate all enemies by force (either using firearms or psychic powers).
Due to his inherent ability to heal himself, Vattic can, if hurt, retreat to a safe place to heal and then return to the fight, although enemies will sometimes tend to respawn if the player retreats too far.
Though much of the game is built up to emphasize the possibility of sneaking past enemies, there are also elements of traditional shooter games, especially when teamed up with WinterICE in the past.

The game doesn't contain any bosses of any sort, mainly due to the story-intensive nature of the game. The only real boss in the game is the main antagonist, Hanson. However there isn't any traditional boss fight, i.e; the player doesn't need to change the way they battle or use any special tactics on certain enemies to finish the game.

The remaining elements as well as the rules of the game remained basically unchanged. 12. The Die Hard series of films are somewhat obvious candidates for being the basis of a computer game. The combination of violence and terrorists with strange European accidents provides excellent material for an action game. Die Hard Trilogy is a set of three games based on the three films. Bundling three games together in one package initially sounds like a bad idea. Surely you'll end up with three weak games rather than one strong one? However, Die Hard Triology works remarkably well.
Die Hard Trilogy gives you three very different games for your money. All of them are quite compelling but aren't really of a high enough quality to maintain your interest for too long. However, because there are three games, you can move between them to keep your interest level up. The package works surprisingly well. However, none of the games would really stand up all that well on their own, so you really have to decide what it is you are looking for. If you want one excellent version of one of these styles of games then you would be advised to look elsewhere. However, if you want a wide range of action then this package may suit you. I certainly enjoyed it and it is one of the better movie licenses of recent times.

  13. The game is based on the first film of the Die Hard series, in which cunning Alan Rickman takes over the state-of-the-art Nakatomi Plaza building as part of a deeply devious robbery, and only Bruce Willis, there to meet his separated executive wife, can stop the faux terrorists. It's a great action flick noted for a stonking villain, displays of ingenuity on both sides, pulse-pounding set pieces and an all-too human hero who gets hurt and tired and frustrated rather than simply displaying the traditional action-hero square chin and invulnerability. Sadly, all these points are missing from the game.

  19. Dexter Morgan is a blood-spatter analyst working for the Miami Metro Police Department, but he leads a double life as a serial killer with his own code of only picking victims who are responsible for the death of others. Based on first season of the Showtime television series, you play as Dexter investigating crime scenes, uncovering evidence while protecting your own identity.
Michael C. Hall and some of the other cast provide voice work for their characters from the show. Dexter investigates several characters including a teacher whose choir boys are disappearing, the ice-cream truck killer who decapitates victims without any blood, and someone who is murdering women and uploading snuff videos on a website. These cases are variations of those on the television series. You can interrogate suspects using different dialogue options - aggressive, neutral or safe. More aggressive actions and dialogue will result in losing your Mask of civility and people treating you with suspicion. In some areas, you may have to use stealth to keep out of sight. The screen corners will be change from orange to red light if you are in danger of being seen. There are several mini-games throughout such as breaking into a computer, or recreating blood spatter patterns at crime scenes to find the weapon used and angle of attack. You will go through locations such as Dexter's apartment, the police department and crime scenes.

  20. The Spider-Man game from 2001 is the first part of a series of games about a spider man. Spider-Man made its premiere in 2000 on the PlayStation console, where it was a great success and was ported to Windows and Mac. The story begins when Peter Parker attends a science project by Otto Gunther Octavius, which is later stolen from a fake Spider-Man double. So Peter Parker aka the real Spider-Man sets out to pursue the kidnapper and clear his name. He will also be helped on his way by the mysterious Black Cat.
After meeting Black Cat and foiling a bank robbery by the Jade Syndicate, Spider-Man is forced to save J. Jonah Jameson from the Scorpion. He defeats Scorpion only to have the ungrateful Jameson call the police. While trying to escape, Spider-Man meets Daredevil, who promises to spread information about Spider-Man's innocence. After avoiding a police helicopter, Spider-Man meets Black Cat, who informs him of two new problems: Rhino attacks the power plant, and Venom kidnaps his wife, Mary Jane Parker, to lure Spider-Man.
Spider-Man and Black Cat, who decided to deal with Rhin first, defeated him and left him with the police, but the one who was severely wounded during the fight was abducted by unknown assailants who pretended to be medics. The rest will be revealed to you by the game itself.

  21. Set in the mythical Heroic Age, Zeus doesn’t pretend to be an accurate historical simulation, a fact bemoaned by some of the series’ fans. The twelve chief deities of the Olympian pantheon will all periodically walk (or attack) the streets of your cities, and legendary monsters like the Minotaur and the Lernean Hydra will make snack food out of your hapless citizens. Great “heroes” such as Theseus and Hercules will come to your rescue if you meet their mercenary demands for cash, goods, and services. These mythological complications add serious tension to the scenarios where they occur. When an angry Poseidon destroys the water-born trade and fishing that a coastal city relies upon for survival, a real sense of urgency results.
Still, the heart of Zeus lies in city design. Veterans of the previous games will immediately notice that Zeus features a somewhat simpler (and therefore faster-paced) approach to urban planning. Industrial, agricultural, military, and cultural buildings no longer send out “walkers” that need to find residential housing within a certain radius in order for the buildings to function. Instead, if there is available labor anywhere in the city, employees come to work. This makes the game easier than Caesar or Pharaoh, both of which forced you to place polluting industries close enough to housing to find workers.
The fashion in which campaigns are structured is also greatly improved. Instead of forcing you to hack a brand-new city out of a howling wilderness in each scenario, most cities in Zeus carry forward into the next episode. For example, in the “Athens through the Ages” campaign, you’ll establish new cities (Athens and two colonies) in three of the eight scenarios. The remaining five episodes of the campaign build upon Athens’ early foundations, and in the process your creation will evolve from a minor village into the greatest city in Greece.
And what a Greece it is! Past Impressions titles have done a poor job simulating the world surrounding your cities, at most allowing you to trade with a few neighbors and fulfill their requests for goods or troops. In Zeus, an entirely new political and economic model enables much more interesting interactions with the other city-states. Allied cities will still trade with you and make occasional requests, but you can finally badger them for goods too. Colonies and vassals pay annual resource tributes to your capital. Rival cities will sometimes attack you, but you can do the same. Better still, every action you take has diplomatic consequences. Conquering a rival, winning the Olympic Games, or fulfilling an ally’s request will improve your standing with other cities.
Zeus is significantly different from previous titles and a worthy addition to the series. Its faster pace, simpler city design, and mythological elements open the game to more casual players.
