Possibly the dryest Sim- game Maxis ever made, SimHealth puts you in control of the U.S.health care system-- evidently Maxis felt that the heated debates during the 1996 presidential election would induce many fans to try their hands at the subject 😉
Despite its commercial failure, SimHealth is a solid simulation that really gives different (if perhaps not "realistic") results of your decision. Want to cut insurance or increase family medicine practice? Here's your chance-- with the end goal of getting re-elected again when the time comes.

Kick Off 3: European Challenge is an updated version of Kick Off 3. Whereas the original game only featured national teams, this version allows the player to take control of all club teams from the top divisions of five European countries: England, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. For each country a league or a cup can be played and there is also a European cup with teams from all countries as well as individual friendlies. The European cup and friendlies also allow the player to select teams from other countries. For copyright reasons, all player names are misspelled (for example Barcelona features Rommario, Haggi and Coeman). The names can however be edited.
There are also some changes to the gameplay. This includes changes to the control systems to make it playable with a one button joystick (on Amiga) and new sound effects (for example when goals are scored) and improved graphics with more animations. Another addition is special key players that bring special playing styles to their sides.

The game where entering the wrong place meant a painful and extraordinary death. A game that has as much atmosphere and style as the main character herself - Elvira. The problem with these very old RPGs is that it is quite difficult to find the cons, especially when in their heyday virtually no one noticed them. From today's point of view, one minor downside would be perhaps a little more complicated control, and worse orientation in space between rooms. But now for the story. Elvira has a little problem. In a way, she discovered a great castle, and she would like to remake it to her image - a cozy home is always a good idea. But it is Elvira, and so she inadvertently awakened Queen Emalda, who was rotting there for hundreds of years. And hundreds of years of rotting queens will not go to the beauty salon after waking up. No. Such queens, when woken up, think of nothing but world domination. The only way to stop it is a special scroll hidden somewhere in that castle. But there is one small problem ... the castle has 800 rooms full of dangerous traps and wonderful creatures. But who wouldn't help dear Elvira, just look at her eyes and you must fall in love!

You play as Heimdall - a god based on Norse mythology. Heimdall's task is to protect the entrance to Asgard, the home of the gods, from all evil, including the terrible Ragnarok. Loki, the cunning god, steals three magical weapons from the gods - Thor's hammer, Odin's sword and Freyno's spear - and is about to weaken the divine forces in the coming Ragnarok, the end of the world. And so Heimdall must go to Midgard (Earth), Utgard (the world of giants) and Asgard itself to bring the stolen artifacts back. Each world has 15 islands divided into many rooms. When you start the mission, you must complete three mini-games. If you manage them well, you will influence Heimdall's statistics and the number of characters you can choose to party. Then you can roam the world, solve puzzles and kill enemies until you find each of the divine artifacts.

In the year 1998, the amount of reports of UFO sightings has been drastically increased. Stories about abductions and alien attacks became more and more widespread. Finally, after various nations of the world have failed to intercept the UFOs, their representatives met in a conference of global importance in Geneva, Switzerland. It was eventually decided to organize a secret paramilitary group, dubbed Extraterrestrial Combat Unit (X-COM). Starting with one base, two fighters, one transport, and a few soldiers, X-COM must locate the aliens, learn about their origins and technology, find out where their base is, and destroy it.
X-COM: UFO Defense is a strategy game featuring separate but interlinked elements. On the strategic side, called GeoScape, you get a rotating view of the globe, where you see all visible UFOs (those that are within your detection range) as well as major cities and your base(s). You order movements from here, such as sending out fighters to intercept UFOs, transports with soldiers to assault/recover UFOs, and perhaps assaults on alien bases (if you find any). You also control your research, as you must invent better weapons (the Terran weapons are just no match against the alien weapons) quickly, not to mention all the other cool tech you can recover from the aliens. You also need to control your budget, as you can't afford to overextend your reach. Researchers need to be paid, engineers (who build the new toys) need to be paid, base(s) need to be be built/expanded, planes need to be bought/maintained, supplies need to be replenished, and so on.
You can earn money by selling unneeded stuff, and you receive funding from the nations of the world; however, a nation can decrease its funding if it decides you aren't operating efficiently enough within its region. It's even possible that a nation gets so fed up with you that it signs a pact with the aliens and ceases funding altogether.
Once you join a ground battle, the game switches to Battlescape, which is an isometric view of the battlefield with realistic line-of-sight calculations and turn-based combat. Your mission is usually extermination of all aliens on the battlefield, though if you can capture a few it would surely help your research efforts. If you win, you also recover any alien artifacts left on the field, which can then be researched.
In combat, each of your soldiers has a specific number of Time Units. Doing anything (moving, shooting, turning around, rearranging objects in the inventory etc.) costs a number of TUs. Once a soldier is out of TUs, he cannot act any more this turn (he gets all his TUs back on the next turn, though).

Die Hard 2: Die Harder is an okay shooter from Grandslam based on the hit movie of the same name.
The game is essentially 3D target practice: you shoot the baddies from a first-person perspective, and each stage is the same as the previous one except for different background graphics and baddies. The stages replicate locations seen in the movie (e.g. airport terminal, and so on), although there is no attempt to flesh out the plot or develop any character. Die Hard 2 is simply an average target practice game that fans of the movie may enjoy for a few minutes, before they get bored and turn to something else more exciting, such as watching the movie again.

The player controls the character of Dr. Alan Grant, a paleontologist who becomes trapped at Jurassic Park, an island theme park and zoo populated by genetically engineered dinosaurs. Grant's initial objective is to search for Lex and Tim, the grandchildren of park owner John Hammond. Upon locating the children, Grant must contact a helicopter so survivors can escape the island. Gameplay consists of a bird's-eye view during the game's large exterior environment, but switches to a first-person perspective whenever Grant enters a building.

Basically, it is a point'n'click adventure. You point your mouse cursor and click. Usually it brings up a question that you have to answer, or the displayed picture changes a bit. In this game, your task is, as expected, to get a girl into your bed. In order to achieve your goal, you have to click through a few stupid questions or random locations on the screen. That is all. If you know what to click on, the whole game can be completed in less than five minutes. But the time is not what is important in this type of games - the main goal is to see the stripshow in front of you.
In this case you can watch a red haired, quite attractive woman in her 30s, dressed in... red. Her name is Vida. Clicking the correct answers in pointless conversations on the screen makes her take off her clothes while she slightly changes her position in front the camera. It reminds me of a casting before a porn movie shoot. Fortunately, the level of erotics in this game is low (as is the screen resolution). After all is done, you have a naked babe on your screen and the game is over.

In this installment of Interactive Girls Club, you encounter Teresa (played by British pornographic actress Teresa May).
Visiting office type party, you met a beautiful girl from overseas. It's her birthday tomorrow, but she has no place to sleep to this time. Being a gentleman, you invite her to your apartment.
The game is a point-click story game, where you choose answers in dialogs and interact with items on the screen to untwist the plot. Not all actions lead to success, and game may be over. But you may re-run the game from the very beginning to try to achieve a maximal effect choosing a different way.
The game is made for adults, and it includes many explicit nude scenes with female protagonist.

X-COM: Terror from the Deep is the follow-up to the resource management and tactical combat game X-COM: Enemy Unknown.
It has been 40 years since X-COM last defeated the aliens. Now, in the year of 2040, aliens begin to appear on the Earth again. This time the threat to humanity is coming from the depths of oceans.
The game is almost identical to the original X-COM game. The user interface, weapons, and aliens are all the same. The only difference is the adaptation of the aliens and weapons (e.g. new hand-to-hand weapons) to the ocean environment. The game features both undersea and on-land missions, and is significantly harder than its predecessor.

Descent is a 3D first-person game that puts the player at the controls of the Pyro-GX spaceship. Descent is notable in that the player travels through various interior locations (mines) but can do so in 720 degrees of movement. The ship however only moves forward and backward in any of the directions it is facing. The ship is able to use a variety of weapons scattered as power-ups throughout each level. They include: standard lasers, the Vulcan Cannon (a chaingun-like weapon), the Spreadfire Cannon (a rapidly firing, shotgun-like energy weapon), the Plasma Cannon (a rapidly firing energy weapon more suited for medium-range combat), and the Fusion Cannon (fires a ball of energy that's more powerful the longer it is charged it up, but could destroy the ship). All of these weapons, except for the Vulcan Cannon, use the ship's energy supply. The Pyro-PX is also capable of firing regular concussion missiles, homing missiles, proximity bombs (sits in the sky, then explodes when something gets close to it), smart missiles (more powerful homing missiles that fire out homing energy balls upon impact with their target), and Mega Missiles (the ultimate weapons of mass destruction).
The goal of each level is to locate and destroy the mine's reactor. Once completed, there are only 45 seconds to find the escape hatch to get out of the mine before it explodes. As progress is made through the game, the AI will adapt to player's strategies and attempt to prevent the player from reaching the goals.

There are weird people living in Maniac Mansion: Dr. Fred, a "retired" physician turned mad scientist; Nurse Edna, a former health care professional whose hobbies would make a sailor blush; Weird Ed, a teenage commando with a hamster fetish; and then there's Dead Cousin Ted, and the Tentacle, and somebody - or something - else... And what's a sweet young cheerleader named Sandy doing in Dr. Fred's basement?
Your goal is to direct a team of three local college students (including Sandy's boyfriend Dave) through the mansion to rescue Sandy. As you explore, you'll meet all the strange inhabitants of the mansion, and you'll discover Dr. Fred's ambition to control the world - one teenage at a time.
You'll find that each of the seven teenagers you can choose from has special skills, talents, and weaknesses. And each of the crazy occupants of the mansion has goals and desires that can help or hinder your team, depending on how you handle them. The story - and your approach to rescuing Sandy - will be different depending on which kids you choose and how you interact with the people and things inside the mansion itself.
Each of the possible stories in Maniac Mansion is really a large, complex puzzle made up of scores of smaller puzzles. From time to time, movie-like "cut-scenes" reveal clues about the story and what's going on elsewhere. As you discover the smaller puzzles that make up each story line, you'll find that most will have to be solved in a certain order. There are always several ways to get something done - but of course, there is always a best way. Good luck!

At a time when first person shooters were at the peak of their popularity and were targeting anyone who thought about games at least a little seriously, The Terminator: Rampage came out. Bethesda's creation was not very successful for its developers at the time, which was most likely due to the appalling stereotype and boring pace.
The game loosely follows the story of the Terminator movies. The player is sent back to 1984 and finds himself in the Cyberdyne System Laboratories building with the task of stopping the production of mass-produced cyborgs, thus destroying the central Meta-Node computer, thus protecting the future leader of the movement, John Connor. The Meta-Node can only be destroyed with a single weapon, a plasma cannon called the V-TEC PPC, the individual parts of which are hidden in different parts of the building.
The player must find the individual parts of the weapon, so he goes through a system of warehouses and laboratories, where a number of enemy robots stand in his way: Skinners, Seekers, Terminators T-1000 and many other machines. Over the course of 24 levels, the player will find plenty of opportunities to use all his weapons, including AK-47, M-16 combat rifles, machine guns and grenades.

This sequel to the original Destruction Derby offers more of the same no-holds-barred action and mayhem with new tracks and a lot of technical improvements and features not seen in the original, such as a pit stop feature that allows car repairs!
Gameplay is identical to its predecessor -- the objective consists of gaining points by winning races or "creatively" crashing opponents and climbing to the top of the rankings.

Kick Off 96 gives you the chance to take part in the European Championships in England 1996. Kick Off 96 can be played with several perspectives, including overhead and isometric, and offers the same pacey gameplay that made its predecessors famous. If Euro 96 isn't enough you could play with 49 international teams plus 750 club teams, totalling 15.000 real players with varied skill levels. If that's still not enough, you can also create your own leagues and teams.

Free video game "Dune Dynasty" v1.5.7 (probably final) for Windows, an enhanced porting of classic DOS game "Dune II" / "Dune 2". It's faithful to the original, but adds a modern interface, a single-player skirmish mode, a player of original cutscenes and soundtrack, and optional features.
The zip already includes:
Required data files from original Dune 2 Some popular mods (Dune 2 eXtended, Super Dune II Classic v1.5g, MrFlibble's Alternate Scenarios, Atreides by Stefan Hendriks), select them by clicking red subtitle in main menu Many options are available only by editing the text file "dunedynasty.cfg" before running the program, including changing the language.
All languages of the original game are available (some new menu texts are in English only; Italian and Spanish use English voices).
NOTE for French/German: to select these languages, you have to remove from \data subfolder all .FRE or .GER files (yes, remove; they're actually Ita and Spa and Dune Dynasty gives precedence to them).
NOTE for mods: custom text only works if English is set.

Blood is a typical Build-powered shooter with a gory twist to the action. While not being the first ever horror-themed FPS in existence, Â Blood does get dubious praise for being more dark and visceral than anything before it. Zombies, demons, religious fanatics and other nasty things are out to get you in this dark, tattered, maggoty, festering computer game.
Even though Blood can be gross as hell, it’s not the least bit off-putting because of it. In fact, its bleak atmosphere and numerous horror-film references scattered throughout the game make it a joy to play. Picture walking through a moonlit Crystal Lake and finding Jason’s iconic ski mask in his rickety cabin. Or stumbling upon a frozen Jack Torrence in a snowy hedge maze. All of that is here, plus much more. With its quirky humor and macabre imagery, Blood has the strange quality of being both foul and alluring at the same time.
Playing the role of a resurrected gunslinger out for revenge, Blood successfully copies what made Duke Nukem 3D great and places the action in a sort of hellish version of the world, one ruled by dark gods, insane cultists, vicious demons and loinclothed loons who fling their arms in panic. Other than the poor loinclothed guys who always get caught in a crossfire, Blood throws in everything from pesky rats and spiders to giant stone gargoyles, with a great many drawn from famous works of horror.
Most common among them are axe-wielding George Romero-style Zombies and machingun-totting cultists that spout insane babble. The trigger-happy Cultists will cause the most trouble, as their lightning-quick reflexes and sharp aim make them awfully challenging to kill. Other enemies up for spillage is the Bloated Butcher, Phantasm (a spooky ghost with a scythe), Hell Hound and four different boss characters. Blood’s most novel enemy is the disembodied hand that chokes the life out of you. Pressing ‘Use’ repeatedly will force it off. You can even here the hand utter ‘I’ll swallow your soul‘ (Evil Dead).

Strife is a Doom-like 3D action shooter and last game that had used the Doom engine. Although from the first sentence it may seem it will be just another copy of Doom, that's not what you should except. The game is set in a medieval environment and is not just about mindless shooting, but in the game you have to fulfill various tasks.
First things first. In the distant future the Earth is controlled by a group of people who call themselves "The Order" and they are trying to control all aspects of life. Of course the rebellion is formed, that is trying to overthrow this Order and free the Earth from all the terror. You are also part of to the rebels group and you have to accomplish several tasks given by different game characters. You won't just linearly proceed through the levels, but you can also decide which task you complete and this way you can modify the storyline a bit (game has a three different endings).
