FreeMany free and Open Source text editors are available, but some are simple, some are complex, and some fill a niche. Few, however, cross over into doing it all with a very usable interface.
When you first start up Kate, you will see it's not rocket science. You're presented with a simple interface that lets you start typing immediately. However, as your eyes move around, you will notice various settings in a few different places around the edges as well as a ribbon-style toolbar at the top. You know you're onto something different here at this point.
Kate has a split-mode window feature that can be used horizontally or vertically. It can also have multiple sessions and supports plug-ins. It also has encoding support, the ability to open files on a network, and is scriptable. Bookmarks are available for all your documents, and line numbers are always visible. The bookmarks are always to the side and can pop out and back as needed. It has highlighting support for specific words and over 250 languages. Of course, it also has on-the-fly spell-checking and search and replace functions.
Programmers will appreciate scriptable auto-indentation, smart comment and uncomment handling, auto-completion with argument hints, and rectangular block selection mode.
Finally, what would all of these features be without a backup? You can always save at any time, but Kate can also swap files to recover data on system crash and features a undo/redo system.

Like other Virtual Networking Clients, Tight VNC has two parts that you need to know: The Server and the Viewer. The Server shares the screen it is running on, and the Viewer connects controls the server. This means the machine you want to connect to must have the server-side installed in it first. You then connect to that server by typing the IP address of the device you have installed the server on. From there, it is as easy as running your machine.
Some routers may give you fits trying to configure the ports correctly, so TightVNC Server also contains a small webserver. This server listens for incoming HTTP connections on the 5800 port. You can change that to whatever you like.

(Can I get a 'hell yeah' from any players that have had to 'fish' for days?) Aurora is built just for such a task.
Aurora is designed to be a single interface to thousands of game trainers in the Cheats Happen library. Game trainers programs are designed to precisely modify the memory of a computer game on the fly, giving it the ability to alter the game behavior allowing the ability to manipulate the game itself. Because of this ability, trainers often throw off a false positive on your antivirus as a "generic," - so be prepared for that.
Aurora is a portable app, meaning you download, unzip it where you want it and that it. No install needed; click the executable to go. It will run perfectly fine unzipped on a desktop or thumb drive.
If you have the game listed, you can apply the Aurora set of trainers to that game to help you progress or have fun with that particular game in different ways. These changes vary from game to game but can include options like speed increases, god modes, stealth, teleporting, etc.

FreeAutofish is simply a fishing bot for World of Warcraft servers.
Many games, like, World of Warcraft, have developed extremely boring ways of keeping a player online and busy - like fishing. You can use AutoFish to do that for you while you go do something in IRL. Just kidding, who does stuff in IRL anymore? 🙂
The program is pretty straightforward and offers a number of settings to maximize your fishing time and try to avoid detection like; human mode, random sleep, increasing movements, etc.
Using Auto Fish for World of WarCraft.
If possible, you should use the default UI and scale with no add-ons.
First, launch the game and switch to DirectX11. If you are using a whitelist, turn off AutoLoot and turn on the Open Loot Window at Mouse. Assign your fishing and lure keys, add them to the AutoFish app, equip your fishing pole and find a nice place to fish.
Avoid the red areas. AutoFish will check for red areas before starting - if you need to, increase the threshold.
Don't use your keyboard or mouse while AutoFish is in use, you simply hit the space bar to stop the bot.

App Notes
Passwords Not Saved Between PCs By Default: Google Chrome stores passwords in such a way that they are encrypted in a way tied to current PC. While the passwords are not kept or left behind on the PC itself, they won't be retrievable when you move to a new PC. There is added password portability as an advanced option, though, which you can enable by reading the help.html file.
Certificates Not Portable: Google Chrome has no certificate manager. It uses Windows' certificates manager. So, any certificates you install through the Google Chrome interface are stored on the current local machine and will not travel with you. Thus, you should not use any private certificates with Google Chrome except on your own PC.
Some Settings/Extensions Locked Per PC: Google Chrome locks specific settings to a given PC. Details are included in this post. This behavior is by design by the Chrome team. If you would like this changed, please file a bug with the Chrome team. A suggested workaround is to sign in to Google to restore all settings and extensions and to use an extension such as Session Buddy to maintain your session state as you move PCs.
Note that other portable browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition do not have any of the issues mentioned above. These issues are specific to Chrome due to Chrome's design and not something we can work around without fixes to the base app by the Chrome developers.
