Toolwiz Care is suite of system optimization tools, capable of fixing registry entries, deleting junk data, and speedind up the PC overall.
The program offers a no-install option at setup initialization. In this case, you can rest assured that no new entries are added to the registry. Plus, you can run Toolwiz Care from any location on the hard disk, and on any machine from a pen drive or similar storage unit.
The interface is user-friendly and offers quick access to all main features. You can get started by running a checkup on the system and view preliminary results.
Monitoring download and upload speed, CPU and memory usage, CPU temperature, and disk access speed is possible in the main window or when hovering the mouse over a horizontal frame placed on top of the screen, which stays on top of other windows.
Once the scanning procedure is done, you can ask Toolwiz Care to immediately fix all found issues. When it comes to the registry, the tool looks for Start menu, installation, uninstallation and application invalid ID keys, firewall expired keys, as well as corrupt application data, shared DLL, startup, font, help file, sound, ActiveX and COM entries.
As for disk cleanup, the focus of activity shifts to Recycle Bin items, Windows temporary and log files, invalid shortcuts, empty folders in “Program Files”, system crash dump files, expired Prefetch items, and others.
Supported web browsers for privacy cleaning include Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome: temporary, cache and cookies files, recent typed URLs, saved passwords, autocomplete form, Index.dat files etc.
A tool that’s not included in the checkup is for analyzing disks. You can point out a drive or folder to view total files, folders, junk files, zero-sized files, empty folders, and huge files.
To speed up the system, Toolwiz Care supplies a fast defrag method, startup applications manager and reporter, along with an optimizer engine for improving response time and system stability, GUI and Command response time, file system and network security and speed, application response speed, and others.
These are just a small part of what Toolwiz Care has to offer. By exploring it further you can find out additional tools for shredding and splitting files, generating passwords, managing applications and context menu entries, and many more.
The application is surprisingly light on the system resources, has an excellent response time and finishes scan-and-fix jobs rapidly. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and Toolwiz Care did not hang or crash. Although it’s rough around the edges (e.g. the registry cleaner didn’t fix all issues in our tests, although the tool labeled jobs as successful), users will find Toolwiz Care resourceful and practical (the app manager, for instance).

Running DOS games has never been easier...
D-Fend Reloaded is a graphical environment for DOSBox. DOSBox emulates a complete computer including the DOS commandline and allows to run nearly all old DOS based games on modern hardware with any of the newer Windows versions.
With DOSBox there is no need to worry about memory managers or free conventional RAM, but the setup of DOSBox is still a bit complicated. The configuration of DOSBox via textbased setup files might be difficult for beginners. D-Fend Reloaded may help and create these files for you. Additionally the D-Fend Reloaded installation package contains DOSBox (including all language files currently available), so there is only one installation to be run and no need to link D-Fend Reloaded with DOSBox manually.
Easy start: The D-Fend Reloaded installer provides everything you need to run old DOS games (D-Fend Reloaded GUI, DOSBox, language files, FreeDos commandline tools). During the first start of D Fend Reloaded everything is set up automatically. Searching and sorting games: D-Fend Reloaded contains many service tools to keep the overview even in large game archives. Games can be filtered by categories like genre and year of publication, you can also conduct find as-you-type searches. For every game you can setup a data folder for manuals etc. Creating new profiles: Besides using the normal profile editor, new profiles may be added by the profile wizard. Additionally templates for different game types are integrated which need only the name and the path of the game as input. Managing profiles: D-Fend Reloaded collects all information regarding a certain program in its profile (program directory, screenshot directory, manual directory, icon file etc.). Therefore complete games may be deinstalled using D-Fend Reloaded and games can be copied from one installation to another. D-Fend Reloaded is also able to build installer packes to transfer games to other computers. (To use this feature you need NSIS.) Additionally complete games can be packed to zip and 7z files by the builtin zip support for archiving or transfering. Language support: DOSBox and D-Fend Reloaded are multilingual. The installer package contains all currently available language files. D-Fend Reloaded automatically sets up the DOSBox keyboard layout which refers to the language choosen for D-Fend Reloaded. Compability: D-Fend Reloaded can read D-Fend and DBFrondend config files. D-Fend Reloaded is completely compatible with Windows Vista (in particular it runs without admin rights). More highlights:
Games can be installed from zip files without any configuration.. D-Fend Reloaded may be installed in a portable operation mode (for USB-Sticks etc.). Besides DOSBox you can also use ScummVM as emulator. Also Windows-based games can be managed in D-Fend Reloaded. With the integrated Bochs-FAT-Image-Creator you may create floppy and harddisk images to be used with DOSBox directly from the D-Fend Reloaded GUI. D-Fend Reloaded can create images from CDs and floppy disks which can be used as drives in DOSBox. Importing any zip file: Many people have archived their good old DOS games as zip archives. D-Fend Reloaded can import this zip archives directly and in my cases there is no need for any configuration at all (if D-Fend Reloaded has a matching auto setup template for the game). The easiest way of adding a game from a zip file is just dragging the zip file to the program window. D-Fend Reloaded portable: You may install D-Fend Reloaded in a portable operation mode on a USB stick. In the portable operation mode the base directory will be stored relative to the program folder. (And all other directories are stored relativ to the base directory.) This enables D-Fend Reloaded to find its files independendly from the drive and directory it is run from. There is also an PortableApps installation package of D-Fend Reloaded. ScummVM support: In D-Fend Reloaded you cannot only manage your DOSBox based game but also your ScummVM-based games. QBasic support: If you have installed a QBasic interpreter, you can also define a *.bas file as a program file in the profile editor. D-Fend Reloaded will call QBasic with the bas file a parameter inside DOSBox. Using virtual harddisks: Compared to D-Fend, the mount dialog has been extended representing all features of DOSBox. Additionally, the D-Fend Reloaded package contains the Bochs-FAT-Image-Creator. With this tool you may create harddisk and floppydisk images to be used with DOSBox. (Of course, this commandline tool may be controlled from the D-Fend Reloaded GUI directly.) Reading CDs and floppy disks: The content of CDs and floppy disks an be read and stored as ISO or IMG files. This drive images can be used in DOSBox as virtual drives. Screenshots, sounds and videos: D-Fend Reloaded has a screenshot, sound and video manager for previewing and saving the captured images, sounds and videos. The images can be stored as jpeg, gif, png and bmp images and the captured wave sounds can be encoded to mp3 and ogg format. Update checker: The Update checker can manually or automatically (at program start up) looks for updates and offer to download and install them. Usage of Windows-based games: You can also manage and start your Windows-based games via the D-Fend Reloaded user interface. This allows you to manage all your games (old and new ones) in one place.- Free

A game based on the spanish feature film "Torrente: El Brazo Tonto de la Ley" (Torrente: The Dumb Arm of the Law). The game follows the adventures of officer Torrente, a fascist, sexist, racist, dishonest, drunk and dirty loser that gets caught between drug cartels and all sorts of homicidal maniacs.
You play the game from either a fps or 3rd person perspective and go around completing missions in the streets of Madrid or sunny Marbella in full 3d with some bonus carchases in between. Mission objectives usually range from disabling bombs to escorting super models while gunning down dozens of street thugs and hitmen and listening to the words of wisdom that Torrente periodically spouts a la Duke Nukem.

Torrente has returned, both in film form and as a video game. Again one can fight crime in Madrid from first- or 3rd-person perspectives, but not a mere virtual Madrid: in this game, the streets of Madrid have been faithfully converted into game maps and the players can visit such authentic locations as the Puerta del Sol or the Plaza del Callao if they so choose.
Santiago Segura, the man behind the film franchise, recorded the voice of Torrente and both the video game and the movie were made simultaneously (the movie being released a week before the game.) This is the first time that a Spanish video game has been developed at the same time as and in cooperation with the production of the movie it was based on.

The game is based on the movie bearing the same title (which, in turn, is based on Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?). In the grim world of the future, cities lie in darkness, and nature gave its way to artificial, bio-mechanical production of all creatures - including human beings. Those artificial humans are called replicants, and are treated as servants unworthy of being "true" humans. The police officer Ray McCoy is a "Blade Runner", whose special job is hunt down replicant rebels. During his investigations, McCoy also gets to see their side, and his vision of the world and society begins to change.
Blade Runner is an adventure game with an emphasis on detective work rather than on puzzles. There are very few "real" puzzles in the game, and the gameplay mainly consists of questioning suspects, gathering evidence, etc. There are also some action sequences, and throughout the game the protagonist has the ability to use his gun. The player's decisions can (and will) influence the outcome of the story, bringing the game to one of the six possible endings.

The House of the Dead is a rail shooter. Go through the four chapters with branching paths and kill all the zombies, avoid killing the humans, and rescue the girl. Shooting various special targets along the way or in a certain time period give the player temporary health and weapon upgrades.
The Saturn version of the game contains two extra modes called Saturn Mode and Boss Mode. Saturn mode plays like the arcade game, but offers the player different characters to choose from. Character selection matters since they each have varying attributes such as their reload time and how much damage they can take before dying. The Boss Mode allows the player to fight one boss of their choosing or all of the game's four boss monsters consecutively.

South Park Super Mario Bros 2 lets you play Super Mario as a South Park character.
We stumbled upon this excellent piece of abandonware by Joe Dixon from 2001 that gave us more than a few "blasts from the past" laughs. The name is pretty self-explanatory here. It's a port of Super Mario for PC where the main characters are from South Park. It is a standalone game that should work fine on any windows based system with 800px graphics anyway.
Just download and unzip the file and click the EXE to play. You may need to assign the SHIFT and CTRL buttons under options to get the jump to work. But after that, you'll be off dinging coins and bopping Goomba's in no time.

You can play as warrior, sorceress, or rogue. Each one can be customized and has their own solutions and sidequests giving Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok great replay value.
The game is designed in the spirit and atmosphere of the classics and strives to have the same high quality of art, music, and plot. Classic RPG fans will enjoy this free game for many hours.

Badass Inc. is a point-and-click action game that has you playing the part of a contract killer tasked to eliminate a target in an unconventional way.
There is some sassiness to go along with the Badass Inc. gameplay that should give you a chuckle as you attempt to fill the kill contract all the while you are pumping to a dark mood setting soundtrack - dropped into the underworld in a city wracked with desperation and crime is where you start.
Revel in the full-on apathy of the protagonist as you complete situational puzzles, interspersed with cinematic action scenes, tense shootouts and some sarcastic replies. It’s an in and out type of job, take out the target and hopefully get paid or at bare minimum laugh while trying!

Adventure, action and a bit of role playing blend in Daemonica, a murder mystery set in 14th century medieval England in the period following the infamous Black Death.
The majority of the game is "true" point-and-click adventure, with all the elements adventure gamers have become accustomed to, with only a small amount of action (in the form of sword fighting) controlled using the mouse and keyboard. The isometric "top down" view makes it look like a traditional role player.
Using the keyboard, you can zoom in or out and adjust camera angles. Scenery graphics include animated objects and animals, including weather effects. There is very little voice-acting, and that is of the main character. Important revelations in the story are provided by narrated text instead of graphic cut-scenes, and conversations with other characters are handled with on-screen text (unvoiced) in a pop-up window. The background music and ambient sound effects are intended to bring an overall feeling of foreboding and moodiness to the story.
Your character, Nicholas Farepoynt, is summoned by the Mayor of Cavorn to determine whether the proper man was executed for the murder of his fiance'. Farepoynt has many abilities that make him unique, including being able to commune with and speak to the dead! As the story progresses, you will guide Nicholas throughout the town talking to its citizens (alive as well as dead) and unearthing the underlying plot that emerges.
Solving adventure-type puzzles comes into play and those include riddles as well as object-dependent ones. The most important "quest" involves finding herbs for the making of potions to enhance Nicholas' abilities, heal him or enable him to travel to the "Temple of Sacrifices" in order to question the souls of the dead. Multiple endings provide a replay value.

A fun tactical wargame based on Games Workshop's renown Warhammer 40,000 universe, Space Hulk combines a faithful depiction of the excellent strategic choices of a Warhammer boardgame, including authentic space marines and weapons, with adrenaline-pumping action.
The game is played from a first-person perspective, and offers you the ability to control up to 4 marines simultaneously, each with his own 3D view window, through a variety of missions ranging from the straightforward find-and-exterminate to object recovery.
The best innovation in Space Hulk that sets it apart from other real-time games is the unique "freeze time" feature: you are allotted a limited amount of free time seconds for each level, which you can use to pause the frenetic action to give orders to your marines while the aliens are frozen in place. The hectic pace of the game and the fact that you'll have to the action in 4 windows at once makes freeze time indispensable, but the limited amount means that you must budget it wisely.
The missions are fiendishly complex. With different armaments to choose from, you must utilize each weapon's specific features effectively, or things will become rather difficult. Certain missions require you to enter a Hulk, retrieve an item of historical importance and leave as soon as possible without being killed. Some of these missions have strong puzzle elements to them similar to some Warcraft maps, i.e. there is only one effective way to win the level. But the game's wonderful atmosphere (with creepy sound effects) and solid gameplay will keep you glued to the screen, cursing the difficulty while playing it non-stop.
Space Hulk is simply a must-play for every Warhammer fan and real-time strategy lovers.. especially anyone who likes a good, solid challenge that requires both wit and reflexes. Two thumbs up, way up!

This game tries very seriously not to be taken seriously, and succeeds through the inclusion of humorous diseases and even more hilarious treatments. Take, for example, The King Complex. As tragic folks taken over by the spirit of Elvis himself (who took a hiatus from the grocery store tabloids just to grace this game), only the fine-tuned skills of a psychiatrist will meet the needs of these patients. Or Slack Tongue, caused by the excessive discussion of soap operas. Only cure? Chop the tongue off with quick, efficient, and painful ease.
At first, it'll take a little time to figure out the necessary steps to make each hospital run smoothly. After a couple hours, the mechanics of game play become autonomic, allowing gamers to adjust their focus to the actual needs at hand. There's no feature more welcome than the speed adjustment, set anywhere from a crawling speed to Dead before they're through the door mode. It's easy for the amount of decisions and tasks to overwhelm you in the blink of an eye. Being able to adjust the speed of the game brings welcome relief when it's most needed.

Wolfenstein 3D is a first-person shooter developed by Id Software and published by Apogee Software in 1992 for DOS. It has since been ported for several systems including PC-98, Mac, Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
The game was inspired by the 1980s Muse Software video game Castle Wolfenstein, a top-down infiltration game.
Wolfenstein 3D came out hot on the heels of the Commander Keen series and utilized the game engine created by John Cormack. It was pre-Doom, but you can see that many of the gameplay elements made their way into this future release. Playing as a captured allied spy, you must escape your Nazi captors and foil their plans for world domination. The game is broken down into six episodes which further break down into ten levels each. Eight regular levels, a boss level, and a secret level. Each level has a labyrinthian set up with lots of areas to explore, secrets to find, and enemies to blow away. You have a set number of lives, but it is possible to earn extra lives as you play.
Wolfenstein 3D is one of Apogee’s best selling games and is looked at by many as the godfather of 3D and first-person shooters, first of all, Doom. It raked in cash for both Apogee and Id in its heyday. 26 years later it still holds up as a classic of the genre and a hell of a good game.

Designing your first amusement park isn’t actually that tough, but once things are up and running do the headaches begin. The key to your theme park’s success hangs on how happy your customers are. Sure, they’ll come to investigate when it opens, but if they don’t like it (if it’s too dirty, boring, lacking key facilities or if the rides look unsafe) then they won’t be coming back for a second visit. Even worse, they might convince their friends not to go. For this reason, you have to think everything from how much to charge for a hot dog to designing your rollercoaster.
One of the other cool, more subtle features of the game is that the quality of people change depending on what kind of a park you’ve built. If your park is very safe and quiet, you’ll be seeing a lot of old folk wandering around. If it has a lot of dangerous and noisy rides then you’ll see younger thrill-seekers visiting. But typically the better way to go is to try to please as many people as possible – provide long, safe rides, have food and drinks nearby, and keep your park clean. Most of the fun of Theme Park is finding that balance that secures your park’s money-making future.
