Warlock Developers Want Players to Feel Powerful, Even If That Means Being Overpowered

Balancing a video game usually means making sure the player never becomes so powerful that the challenge completely disappears. The developers behind Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons, however, are approaching that problem from a slightly different direction. Instead of asking whether a spell is too powerful from the beginning, developer Invoke Studios wants to make sure the abilities are fun first. If that means making the player ridiculously powerful for a while, so be it. The balancing can come

Vince Zampella: Battlefield 2042 "deviated too much from what BF is"

Battlefield 2042 was not quite what the players wanted, mainly because it differed quite significantly from previous parts of the series. Anyone who agrees with this is welcome Battlefield boss Vince Zampella In an interview with Barrons (via VGC ), he says: "I think they strayed a little too far from what Battlefield is. They tried to do a couple of things that were maybe ambitious: grow the number of players etc. I don't think they put enough time into further developing what makes it fun

Victoria 3 will be released in October

We have to wait longer for some sequels than others. In a press release, Paradox reveals that Victoria 3 will be released on October 25, which means twelve years after the second and nineteen years after Victoria: An Empire Under the Sun. There is time to build up reasonably high requirements during that time. Up to the proof! The grand strategy game takes us from 1836 all the way to 1936. The Victorian era is considered strict, ornate and rule-heavy. Proven breeding ground for successful s

Why they choose to release an identical version is unclear as the game can already be played on PS5 through the PS4 version, but regardless Shredde
