Starship Troopers Extermination is updated with bloodier battlefields

Dead insects stay on the playing field. Anyone who has seen the movie Starship Troopers might remember how the bugs die in piles and how Rico and the gang can climb up on them? Now this will finally be possible Starship Troopers Extermination . With the next patch, the insect corpses will stay on the playing field and be able to form piles that can then be climbed up. The developers call the system Carnage, and it lets the insect bodies remain until you or your fellow soldiers bla

The settlement builder Republic of Pirates is out – as well as a demo

In Republic of Pirates we get to build and take care of our own settlement among turquoise waters and swaying palm trees, and it's been out since a few days ago on PC. There is also a demo to test, so raise your flag and take it for a test ride. Here there is a resource-based economy to consider as well as diplomatic relations to nurture, but when the words are spoken, real-time sea battles can also be resorted to. To help with that, you must recruit and upgrade well-known pirate captains,

The Beyond Good and Evil remaster gets a graphic comparison to the original

Ubisoft finally revealed the gaming world's worst-kept secret last week, and Beyond Good & Evil: Anniversary Edition , which is a remaster, was finally released yesterday. If you are interested and curious about how the new version compares to the original, the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits has made a handy comparison video. Among other things, we see samples of slightly improved mountain geometry, vegetation in 3D instead of just flat textures that stick out, properly polished chara

Cheater exposed in Battlefield 2042 - EA/Dice does nothing

There have been a lot accusations over the past few years about cheaters and hacks in Battlefield 2042. There have been no real proof other than we know that software are available to buy with which you can cheat in the game, cheats like wallhack, aimbot etc. EA have always claimed that there are minimum amount of cheaters in the game and not long ago they even switched out the anti-cheat software to their own software claiming it was better and would stop cheaters. Well, it's not better, it doe

Star Wars Outlaws missions locked to expensive versions receive criticism - Ubisoft responds

Everyone will meet Jabba the Hut, but a specific mission costs extra. When Star Wars Outlaws was shown off and given a release date last week, it was clear that Ubisoft is trying to lure buyers to the more expensive versions with exclusive content. The standard edition costs $69.99, but for an extra $40 for the Gold Edition or an extra $60 (as much as a full game) for the Ultimate Edition, you get to start playing three days before the real premiere, plus the season pass (and with the

Fallout doubles its player numbers on Steam (and you can probably guess why)

In the wake of the Fallout series on Amazon Prime, several Fallout games have "more than doubled" their Steam concurrent player stats (according to Steamdb). The series is of course an obvious reason, but Bethesda (coincidentally!) has also teased some games, and Fallout 76 is currently free to try for doom-seekers. That, Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas have all received major boosts. That's about doubled, tripled, yes, even quadrupled the numbers for the Fallout games. And there will

The Day Before studio shuts down due to "Out of money"

Four days after The Day Before was released in early access, developer Fntastic has run out of money. And that's why they are shutting down the business, the studio announced via X (Twitter). Fntastic writes that there are no financial means to continue operations. The income received must go to "partners". You don't say anything if you intend to refund money to those who bought the game. As before, Fntastic says that it did not make any money from the players during development. But r

Multiplayer mod for Starfield shut down because "the game is so fucking bad"

Modder Cosideci is the creator behind the incredibly acclaimed Skyrim Together, which is a mod that enables multiplayer in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. As soon as Starfield was released he immediately started working on a corresponding mod for it, but when around a week after release he actually sat down to play the game , he discovered something. This game is so fucking bad. I didn't realize it until after I actually started playing the Saber game a week after release. The game is boring a

"Florida Joker" wants Rockstar to pay him "a million or two"

The GTA VI trailer was released last week, a little earlier than planned even, and at the time of writing has nearly 140 million views on YouTube . But not everyone was completely satisfied with getting the first official look at almost part of Rockstar's hit franchise. Lawrence "Florida Joker" Sullivan is a man nicknamed for his Joker-inspired facial tattoos and (once upon a time) green-dyed hair, and now he's angry that a character in GTA VI possibly inspired by him and the "mug shot" whi

The Day Before failure, players are fleeing

It was heavily criticized in advance, but the question is whether The Day Before's worst time is now. Out of roughly 18,000 Steam reviews, 80 percent give the thumbs down for the early access release. Stupid AI, empty world and a bug fest are focal points of criticism. "Bad game, fun bugs", someone writes. "It turned out to be a real game. Wish in a way it wasn't like that", writes another. It should be said that this is (huge?)early access, but the large open world promised doesn't seem to

Rumor: The Witcher wraps up with fifth season

Netflix's The Witcher series has been a contentious production, to say the least. Although it has its audience, large groups of fans seem to really loathe it. Additionally, there have been reports and allegations of behind-the-scenes fights, which many assume is the reason why Henry Cavill decided to hang up the wolf medallion and leave the role of Geralt of Rivia behind. As a result, Liam Hemsworth will take over the monster-slaying task for the upcoming season four. But it looks like we w

Elon Musk's angry letter to Warner: "Amber Heard must be in Aquaman 2"

The storm surrounding the long-awaited Aquaman sequel continues, and according to recently leaked documents obtained by Variety, there are many indications that Elon Musk played a crucial role in the film's production. Without him, Amber Heard would most likely have been fired and cut out of history. But even before the legal battle between Depp and Heard took place, it is claimed that her role was in jeopardy. Reason? That it just didn't click between her and Jason Momoa. So when Warner, d

5 most common roman torture techniques

Torture was a common practice in ancient Rome, especially during interrogations. Until the second century CE, torture was used only on slaves (with a few exceptions). After this period, torture also concerned the lower social strata. The slave’s testimony was considered true under Roman law only during torture. It was thought that they could not be trusted and that they had to be intentionally “tried” ¹.  Some of the most common torture techniques used by ancient Romans include: Cru

The Elder Scrolls: Castles is released out of nowhere - to mobile formats

Out of nowhere we get The Elder Scrolls: Castles mobile game. Although the game is only released for Android and in the US, a wider release is likely only a matter of time. The question is: when? It seems Bethesda adopted the surprise strategy with Fallout Shelter being announced and released at the same time - but here without an announcement? We don't even have a trailer to look at. Well. The key phrase is possibly "Fallout Shelter" because the screenshot below gives off such vibes. Readi

Starfield has been "deliberately made to be played for a long time"

That Starfield is "deliberately made to be played for a long time" sounds like a no-brainer. In fact, however, Todd Howard says this is a lesson Bethesda learned from feedback from Skyrim and Fallout . In the Game Maker's Notebook podcast , Howard tells Insomniac's Ted Price: It was important to Todd and company that it would feel natural to continue playing after the campaign, which Starfield's new game plus solution will ensure. Black Holes Explained (by ChatGPT)

This is a conversation with ChatGPT about black holes. Question: What is a black hole ChatGPT Answer: A black hole is a region of space where the gravitational force is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape from it. Black holes are formed when a massive star runs out of fuel and collapses in on itself, compressing all its mass into an incredibly small space. The boundary around a black hole, beyond which nothing can escape, is called the event horizon. Once an obj

How does the sun work?

Question: Explain how the sun works ChatGPT: The Sun is a massive, luminous ball of hot gas, primarily composed of hydrogen and helium, with traces of other elements.
