Or perhaps you’ve been advised by a "top result" to eat at least one small rock a day for your health? These aren't just funny glitches. Typically, security researchers discover these flaws, report them to the vendor privately, collect a reward, and the bug gets patched. But over th

Not even the AI developers understand how the chat bots work

A fascinating and somewhat scary aspect of artificial intelligence is that nobody completely understands how it works. Perhaps for the first time in human history, we have invented technology we do not fully understand. Many people understand the basics; Machine learning, transformer model, calibration and training, but not why chat bots give the answers they give or why the models show special behaviors. A crucial difference between artificial intelligence and traditional programs is that AI ge

Samsung is better than Google at mid-range OS updates

In recent years, Samsung has become the best Android manufacturer in terms of updates. In the beginning, that statement had an asterisk, "except for Google", but now Samsung is even better than the search giant in sending out new OS versions in the middle segment. For all intents and purposes, it remains to be seen how well the promises are fulfilled, but on paper, the Galaxy A53 will receive more new Android versions than Google's equivalent phone, the Pixel 6a. The Galaxy A53 will get fou
