Anyone who hates having a lot of different launchers on their computer can rejoice at the news that it will soon be one less, at least if you play Bethesda's products. Through their website, they announce that it's time to say goodbye to Bethesda.net Launcher, but also assure that all games we own are safe. Starting in April, we will be able to migrate our games and any wallets to our Steam accounts. The save files for many games will also be transferred automatically, while others require a manual touch. The Bethesda account itself will still be there and available via the website, and you will continue to have to log in to play certain games. This only applies to PC players, and console players do not have to do anything.

We already knew that Assassin's Creed Valhalla was a real cash magnet for Ubisoft, but now we have a slightly more specific figure to relate to. In a conversation with investors, CEO Yves Guillemot states that the revenue from the game squeezed above the dream limit of one billion dollars in revenue in December 2021. This most likely also includes the revenue from the expansions released, such as the Siege of Paris, and thanks to the game's popularity, it will be even more. The expansion Dawn of Ragnarok is on its way, and earlier this month we got a better picture of what it will be in a six-minute video. Another thing we can possibly look forward to - if the rumors can be trusted - is a smaller Assassins' Creed game that is said to have a greater focus on stealth and taking place in Baghdad.

The long-awaited Horizon Forbidden West is released. The idea was that we would have to revisit Aloy and the gang as early as 2021, but the game was delayed until now instead. According to a Dutch newspaper NU, the game was delayed to avoid "crunch" and overtime for the workers. The newspaper interviewed Mathijs de Jonge and he said this: The so-called "cruch culture" is a hot topic in the gaming world that also gets a lot of criticism. There has been a tradition that you basically work day and night the last weeks (sometimes months) to get the projects done, at the expense of workers' health.

It has long been confirmed that Amazon is working on a TV series based on Fallout. The last we heard was that Jonathan Nolan will direct the series. Jonathan is the brother of the more famous Christopher Nolan. He has also worked a lot with his brother and helped in many of his films and projects. Now it has been confirmed that the actor Walton Goggins has signed for a lead role, he is known for Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, The Shield and Sons of Anarchy. There are also rumors that he will play a so-called ghoul, but this is something that has not yet been confirmed. Amanzon aims for the series to go into production this year, which means that it will be a while before it reaches us viewers.
