That people are disappointed with Battlefield 2042 is probably a fact at this point, and even EA themselves state that they are dissatisfied. The problems have piled up, and last week Dice announced that the game's first season will be delayed so they can focus on the worst bugs and gameplay instead.

However, some are not happy with the wait for the game to be fixed, and therefore a petition has been started on Change.org. The goal is 50,000 signatures, and at the time of writing it has 219.193 votes signed. The creator claims that one of the country's (US) best lawyers will pursue the case against EA if they reach 50,000 signatures.

The creator of the petition says that EA and Dice did not keep their promises and that the game was unplayable when it was released. He also points out that in some cases Steam has made exceptions to its refund rules and given the money back even though players played more than the allowed two hours.

Whether this collection will lead to anything is highly doubtful, but it is undeniably an interesting development in the chaos.

Should have been a petition to shut the game down imo.
