Microsoft Flight Simulator turns 40, and it's to be celebrated. On November 11th, a content update will be released, and the now two-year-old game (sorry, simulator) will finally get official support for helicopters.

The update will include twelve new aircraft, such as the Airbus A310, two helicopters (according to unconfirmed information), and six historical planes. There will also be twelve airports each for helicopters and gliders and 20 historical missions.

The update will be free to take home, and it's also included if you run the game via Game Pass.
