As you know, Lionsgate has two films with John Wick on the horizon, but according to IndieWire , the studio also seems to want to make a game based on the series. John Feltheimer at Lionsgate says that they are currently discussing making a big investment in a game project, but that nothing is set in stone yet. According to
“I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but we believe there is a big AAA game to be made out of ‘John Wick,'”
“We have been fielding proposals. We certainly are interested in moving that forward, but I don’t want to say anything more about that at this time.”
Now, there are already games based on John Wick in the form of Bithell Games’ John Wick Hex , but what Lionsgate is talking about would be a title with a much bigger budget.
