Assassin's Creed Mirage, formerly Rift, is said to be ready for release this spring

(0 reviews)

Rumors of a smaller, more traditional (a.k.a. more stealth, less action RPG) Assassin's Creed have been rife for a while, and we're allegedly set in Baghdad. The rumor mill picks up speed when Youtube profile j0nathan claims that the game we previously knew as Rift will be called Assassin's Creed Mirage. The release for the game, which "goes back to the origin", is due sometime this spring.

Rumors are always rumors and should be taken at face value, but they are persistent in this case. The omniscient Jason Schreier also takes the opportunity to confirm some of the new rumors, while dismissing others.

Schreier believes that parts of this are true, while he claims that the chance to explore "multiple cities" is not. We'll see who's right. You will find all thistles and tassels below. J0nathan also claims that a remake of the first game is in the works, and will take advantage of Mirage.
