Disney has announced the "life simulator" Dreamlight Valley

(0 reviews)

Disney seems determined to hit the nostalgia nerve of every single person with the announcement of Dreamlight Valley. Classic character after classic character is glimpsed in the trailer for this "life simulator" and adventure game, which will be free-to-play and released for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Game Pass and iOS.

The plot revolves around a village that was once idyllic, but which, after an event called "the Forgetting", now lies deserted and overgrown by thorny plants. Of course, there are both heroes and evils from Disney's many worlds, including everything from Scrooge to Wreck-It Ralph. However, we get to create and tailor our own character ourselves.

In addition to solving the mystery of what has happened, we will be able to engage in cooking with the rat from Ratatouille, fishing with Goofy and gardening with Wall-E. The game is set to be released in 2023, but you can buy into early access this summer by paying for a Founder's Pack or a Game Pass membership. More info on the official website.
