15 minutes of Dying Light 2 gameplay, with paragliding and battles
As previously promised, Techland has recently released a 15-minute gameplay trailer for the upcoming Dying Light 2: Stay Human ( here is one of the previous ones). The demonstration seems to take place fairly early in the game and shows how the player gets a flight screen to be able to get from roof to roof more easily. The flight screen can advantageously be controlled over various warm air currents which, among other things, air conditioners seem to spit out, in order to extend the flight and get some height.
It all leads to a transformer station where the player encounters one of the factions in the game, Peacekeepers. Then it becomes a fight, where we get to see everything from jump kicks to how the duck hook can be used to get enemies out of balance. This is followed by a simpler puzzle where electrical cables must be routed to the right place.
When it's done, the player can choose which faction will benefit from this transformer station, which this time is Peacekeepers or Survivors. Both come with different benefits, which in Peacekeepers' case is that they install "car traps" in all zones they control, while Survivors place airbags in all their zones.
The game has recently " gone gold ", which means that it is, more or less, ready to be pressed on record. With that said, Techland is learning to work on it fully with its day 1 patch so that it is ready just in time for the release on February 4. It comes to Playstation 4/5, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch (via streaming).
