Just in time for the one-year anniversary on Thursday, Dying Light 2 has been updated. Version 1.9.0 has a long list of changes, and here are some of the goodies:

  • The unpopular Denuvo copy protection has been removed from the PC version.

  • Crossgen support, so PS4 and PS5 and Xbox One and Xbox Series can play together. But still no crossplay support (so that different platforms can play together).

  • Support for Nvidia's upscaling technology DLSS 3 (PC only).

Read the full changelog for the latest patch.

The one-year anniversary is celebrated with a week full of challenges and rewards. Here is more information about what to expect.
