Hellena Taylor has been Bayonetta 's voice in two games, but in the 3rd it is instead Jennifer Hale who does the witch's voice. It has been unclear why they switched voice actors. but at the same time, it has happened before in the gaming world that iconic voice actors have been replaced. Sometimes it can have to do with things as simple as scheduling conflicts, but in Taylor's case, it's all about the money. According to her, she was only offered $4,000 dollars to do the role. She posts this in a twitter post while rallying fans to boycott the game.

These are harsh words from Taylor where she feels that Nintendo has not treated her well and also accuses Platinum Games of lying. As icing on the cake, she also sends a boot to Jennifer Hale and calls her "new girl" who has no right to call herself the voice of Bayonetta .

Bayonetta 3 will be released on October 28th for the Nintendo Switch.
