Sound of Freedom starring Jim Caviezel is a movie based around true events surrounding trafficking and the slavery of children used for sexual abuse. It follows Jim's character as he goes deep undercover to discover the horrific and illegal trade of children, while at the same time trying to find a girl who was abducted from her father.
The movie is very well made with its runtime of just over 120 minutes, with very little action scenes it still manages to keep you benched and wanting to know what happens next. Jim Caviezel does a remarkable job playing the former government agent Tim Ballard, who quit his job in order to be able to journey deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free the little girl from a fate worse than death.
This is a must see for anyone.
I will end the review with the movies ending credits:
"Human trafficking is a 150 billion dollar-a-year business. The United States is on of the top destinations for human trafficking and is among the largest consumers of child sex.
There are more humans trapped in slavery today than any other time in history - including when slavery was legal.
Millions of these slaves are children."
Let that sink in for a while!
