The gang behind the Call of Duty games continues to work on reducing the number of cheaters and people who misbehave with others. A consequence of that is that half a million Call of Duty players have been banned so far. In addition, 300,000 account names have been changed since an automatic filtering system was launched. The changes apply to names that are judged to be offensive, offensive and similar.
The administration uses both automatic systems and human moderators to keep chats and names in order. The policy has been tightened and the amount of offensive nicknames is said to have decreased by 55 percent after that.
