This is a move towards easier sharing and lighter on resources. It also means that all files will be conveniently downloaded into a folder rather than users having to download a zip with the main file and then all other files manually.

It should in theory also improve download speeds and overall performance.

Depending on what torrent software you use you will be able to select which files to download which files to skip.
