Two years after Odyssey , Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is here, and according to Ubisoft, twice as many Valhalla played compared to Odyssey . Ubisoft’s figures are not more concrete than that, but they expect the statistics to only get better as more next-gen consoles are sold. Actual sales figures are probably a few weeks away, but so far we have to listen to humble boasting from Yves Guillemot.
It’s probably going well as Valhalla happens to be one of the better AC titles. The ratings are great, although my initial review of the game is not as great.
We can probably be sure that Assassin’s Creed will continue its conquests in the future as well since new games in a series do not come every year, so we can probably expect the next big game in the fall of 2022. Recently it was also clear that a Assassin’s Creed TV show will come to Netflix.
